ASISTEM IDENTIFIKASI MODEL DINAMIKA MOTOR DC UNTUK DIGUNAKAN PADA DESAIN CONTROLLER

The speed of DC motor can be controlled by determining proportional, integral and derivative constants or its combination, using trial and error method. In this research is done by using characteristic identification of DC motor. The problem of this research is how to identify dynamic characteristic of DC motor by using Pseudo Random Binary Sequence (PRBS) analysis. The objective is to derive and simulate mathematics model of DC motor. The model can then be used to design controller, especially PID. The result is dynamic identification equation which is in S domain that is obtained by transforming discrete system (Z function) with Tustin transform method. Norm error for orde 2 system is 487.361 where the highest is 2810.

MINIMALISASI WEB LATENCY DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PREFETCHING WEB MINING ORDER PADA PROXY SERVER

Heavy traffic on the Internet which can, in turn, cause web latency in receiving responses for the Internet users during their access periods. In this context, the use of proxy cache becomes a standard solution for minimizing the web latency. Unfortunately, however, since the proxy cache is passive in nature, its usage can still potentially increase the web latency whenever a web page being estimated to be requested is not available in the proxy cache. In this research, the use of web prefetching is combined with a proxy cache in order to optimize efforts performed for minimizing the web latency. The WMo algorithm being involved in the web prefetching is aimed to generate a set of association rules from a collection of web pages obtained from access log file of a proxy server. The experimental results show that the application of the WMo algorithm-based web prefetching that is combined with the squid proxy cache is capable of reducing the web latency and network traffic as well as capable of increasing both the hit and byte rates, in compared to that system solely utilizing the proxy cache without web prefetching mechanism.

PENERAPAN SISTEM NEURO-FUZZY DENGAN STRUKTUR ANFIS UNTUK PREDIKSI CURAH HUJAN DAERAH BANYUWANGI

The drawback of fuzzy system is the process of determining membership function where rules are determined based on membership function which have been designed. The problem of this research is how to develop an application software that is able to predict rainfall by using neuro-fuzzy system. The
objective is to develop a software that can give information on rainfall prediction by using neuro-fuzzy system with ANFIS structure. The learning process consists of two stages, forward stage using fuzzy inference mechanism and LSE method and backward stage by using back error propagation. The result shows that it can be used to predict rainfall with learning process error of 29.5890% and prediction error of 42.7397%.

SISTEM PENDUKUNG PENGENDALIAN DAN PEMANTAUAN SERVER LINUX MENGGUNAKAN SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE

In managing the network security, a system administrator must always monitor and control the server. The administrator has to use a computer connected to undertake it. Problem of the research is how to develop supporting system to help the administrator to monitor and control the network. Therefore, the objective is to design and develop supporting application to monitor and control the server using handphone by receiving the latest information from the server and sending control command in the form of short message services (SMS). All the SMS can be sent and received well. The time spent to do security alert is shorter than the time to do the remote system.

SISTEM PEMANTAU GEMPA BERBASIS KOMPUTER

In this research a device that can replace seismograph to measure earthquake magnitude is proposed. Problem of this research is how to design a device which can monitor recording system of earthquake magnitude. The objective is to design a device which can detect vibration caused by earthquake either volcanic or tectonic and process the data obtained to be displayed by computer. The hardware designed consists of transducer, ADC, voltage amplifier and connected to computer via PPI. The result shows that the device can measure the magnitude of earthquake with Root Mean Square Error of 6,4719 and average percentage of 6,6894 %.
